Introduction

Classify and respond to TikTok interactions using the STILINGUE platform.

 

TikTok is an entertainment platform for sharing short videos, offering users features for creative and easy editing. The platform also allows for subtitles, soundtracks, filters, and gifs. 

 

By including TikTok in STILINGUE, you enable a connection with your page's users, make it easier to contact them, and enhance the accuracy of response analyses. 

 

Initial requirements

To link a TikTok profile within the My Connections section, you need to meet certain requirements:

The TikTok profile must be of the "Business Account" type to enable linking with STILINGUE. If it's a "Personal Account," the connection cannot be established. 

 

To check if the business account is configured, follow these steps:

Open the TikTok profile you want to connect and go to the menu located in the upper right-hand side   and click on Settings and Privacy:


 

Then, access the option Manage Account:



Confirm if the account is currently set to "Business Account". If it shows "Switch to Business Account," as shown in the image below, it means it is currently set to personal. If it shows "Switch to Personal Account," it means the profile is currently set as a Business Account.

 

How to start collecting?

If you don't have any TikTok profile connected to STILINGUE yet, here are the details needed to establish the connection and ensure data collection.

 

My Connections 

The first step to make TikTok a proprietary channel is to connect the page within the My Connections section. 

To establish the connection, you need to:

1. Access Smart Care;
2. Access the icon in the top right corner of the screen;
3. Click on My Connections;
4. Choose the TikTok platform;
5. Click "Add Connection";

6. Performing the connection.

By clicking on "Add Connection," a pop-up will open on the screen. For the connection to be activated, it is necessary to authorize STILINGUE to access the TikTok account, and all "Manage Access" options will be automatically enabled.

 

Attention! If you need to connect more than one TikTok page, we suggest that you disconnect the first page and then connect the second, or perform the new connection in an incognito tab.

 

All options must be kept enabled, and click "Authorize" to complete the connection.

Attention! Changing the account type to personal or deactivating some of the options in "Manage Access" can lead to authentication failures in your account. 

 

The page refresh token has a validity of 1 year. After this period, you will need to manually refresh (disconnect and reconnect manually). 

 

Collection limitations  

  • There will be darkpost collection, but it will not be differentiated from organic post;
  • We do not guarantee the collection of all darkpost modalities;
  • Only videos that are available on the brand's TikTok page will be collected;
  • It will not be possible to use AI for automatic sentiment classification on TikTok.
