Introduction

Learn how to connect your company's business locations to STILINGUE.

STILINGUE enables the connection of proprietary pages to the platform in My Connections. In the tabs in this section, you will find more information on how to access this area and the connection options for different social networks. In this guide, we will specifically discuss Google My Business (GMB).

 

What is Google My Business

GMB is a free service from Google that provides features to locate and update information about commercial locations, allowing businesses to monitor reviews and respond to user comments. By using STILINGUE Smart Care, you can collect, respond to, and categorize these interactions related to locations managed by your company, offering more possibilities for analysis, customer service, and online reputation management for franchises and other commercial niches with a significant number of addresses to monitor. 

To connect, go to the menu located in the upper right corner, click on "My Connections," and wait for the screen of the Proprietary Connections Management.

 

 

Initial requirements 

To establish the connection, it is necessary for you (or the user responsible for the connection) to have Administrator permission in both STILINGUE and GMB accounts. For more information regarding Google My Business permissions, please refer to this link.

 

Starting the connection

When accessing the Connection Management, you will see all the proprietary channels that can be integrated into the tool. Previously connected addresses will also be available in this area if they exist. 

Click on the GMB icon and then select "Add Connection." A new window will open for you to choose the account and authorize access through STILINGUE:

 

 

Note: if you have opted for two-factor authentication to access external tools with your email, this is the step where verification is requested. After entering the code, you can proceed with the steps as usual. 

Shortly after approving access, a list of accounts with access to GMB will appear. 

Choose the connections you'd like to add: 

 

 

Multiple connections in GMB

Unlike other proprietary pages, Proprietary Connection Management allows you to connect one or more locations simultaneously. 

Note: If you wish to add more than 2,300 connections, please communicate with your account manager. 

This allows companies with numerous branches or franchises to efficiently include available addresses in GMB to STILINGUE.

Activate places

Once the connection is established, all the places that are part of the page will be listed below. You have the option to activate them manually or select all of them at once.

It's important to emphasize that to connect the listed locations, you need to have the necessary permission level for all.

To deactivate the place, simply click the button that activates it until it returns to the position indicating "off." And to remove a specific address from the selection, click on the trash can icon below "actions." 

The activated locations will appear listed within the screen of Proprietary Connections Management.

To locate them, use the search field: 

 

 

Delete pages 

You can delete the pages in two different ways.

1. Individually

Click on the trash can icon located below "Actions". To add it again, simply click on "Add Connection".

2. Exclusion of all connected pages

Select all pages at once. To add them back, simply click on "Add Connection".

 

Important:  When the import of locations is performed, only the locations added in STILINGUE will appear.
