Introduction

See how to connect your company's channels. 

The connection of your proprietary pages is done in My Connections. Access the initial tab for more information on how to access this area and the connection options for different social networks. In this guide, we will specifically talk about YouTube.

Go to the Menu located in the upper right corner, click on "My Connections," and wait for the screen of Proprietary Connections Management.

Initial requirements

To connect your brand's channel, it is necessary that you (or the user responsible for the connection) have permission as a Proprietor within the channel. Only this level has the necessary permission to connect the page to STILINGUE. 

Connecting the channel

When accessing the Connection Management, you will see all the proprietary channels that can be integrated into the tool. Connected pages are also available in this area if they exist. Click on the YouTube icon and go to the Add Connection box. A new window will open, requesting authorization for use by STILINGUE. 

Shortly after, another window will appear, listing all the channels you have access to on YouTube. To establish the connection, click on Activate. The list will display the channel as already connected. This process can be performed to connect other channels available in this list if necessary.

After confirmation, the channel will be connected and will appear as a card within the Proprietary Connections Management. After completing this step, it is necessary to activate the card so that the data can be accessed within the tool. Inside the card, select the desired survey, click OK, and activate the button in the right corner (the color will change from gray to green).

Note: Pay attention to the green notifications in the lower corner of the screen. They indicate that the actions have been successfully completed.

Attention! If your channel is already connected, but the new subscribers metric is not being displayed, you will need to disconnect from the YouTube pages and reconnect afterwards. In this way, a special permission will be added, and the new metrics will be collected.

I followed these steps, and my channel wasn't connected. What now?

If you couldn't connect on the first attempt, access the Google permissions center at this link. In the upper corner menu, make sure to select the account corresponding to the channel you want to connect to. Locate and remove the STILINGUE permission, and then try connecting in the tool again.
