New Interests January 18, 2024 16:33 Updated Index: Introduction What are the interests? How to access Introduction Learn how to identify and work with user tribes present in the collected posts. STILINGUE has developed important analysis criteria to assist in the collection and classification of your research. By segmenting users based on interests, it is possible to create targeted campaigns and understand their activities on social networks. What are the interests? Interests act as "tribes" of users. The system's automatic classification works on the content published on social networks. From the content collected in the tool, the user - author - is identified, and the content of these posts is taken into consideration to assign a specific interest. Example: The user writes terms like "sound" and "songs" on a particular social network. As soon as one of their posts is collected in the system, the interest "Music" will be assigned. It is also possible to create custom interest classifications within the search configuration and apply them to users, as we will demonstrate below. Understand the interests of the STILINGUE database by clicking here. How to access Access the Configuration area from the side menu or the card - for more details, see the Create/Edit Research guide that is part of the Help Center. To facilitate the process, you can expand or hide the sections corresponding to each step of the Search Configuration: All searches rely on the automatic classification of interests according to predefined topics in the STILINGUE database. When a user is categorized under a specific interest, their collected posts in the search will also be classified accordingly. Topics such as: "News," "Fashion," "Media," and several others are examples of what the user may demonstrate as an interest through the content they publish on social media. To include new interests in the search, type in the field indicated in the image below what you would like to target among your users: From the moment an interest is created by you in the search, it becomes part of your dashboard only, without interfering with other searches entered in the tool. This functionality serves so that you can also create your own interest classifications and apply them to the users in your search. Note: once New Interests are created and saved in the system, it is not possible to delete them. To view search data based on the classification of interests, apply the publication filter in Listening and write the interest you want to search for. Only classified searches will be displayed.
