Introduction

Understand what happens to deleted posts within your search

After removing posts during a search, an action that can be performed in two ways: 

  • individually in the post card;
  • in bulk, through Multiple Editing);
  • They are moved to the trash and will be permanently deleted from the system in the future. 

 

However, it is still possible to access and recover this content before the final deletion, in case any post was discarded by mistake, for example.

 

How long do I have to recover a deleted post?

The permanent removal process for recent trash publications has a safety margin of 7 days after the removal date by the STILINGUE user. The system will not delete publications in the trash if the removal date is within the last 7 days. In this way, you can recover publications sent to the trash that are within this time frame.

For example, the system will delete on 05/15 all publications removed by the user 7 days earlier, i.e., on 05/08. If you removed publications from your search after this period, you can still recover them as they are within the 7-day interval. However, if the trash contains publications removed on 05/08, they will be permanently deleted.

Please note that this criterion is defined by the removal date. Therefore, if you remove a post on 11/10 and another on the next day (11/11), one will be permanently deleted on 11/17 and the other on 11/18.

 

Where can I view trash posts?

To check the contents of the trash, select the corresponding icon within the Publication Filter, in the Editing and Sorting area. The trash icon will turn red. When applying the filter, you will see all posts removed from the search, according to the date range and other parameters selected in the Publication Filter.

 

How to recover a deleted post?

After selecting the deleted posts in the filter, look for the post card and click on the trash icon to confirm the option "Restore this post to the search".
