Introduction

Visualize the most frequent terms in your search and understand how they relate.

The Related Terms chart allows you to see which terms were most mentioned during the time period and how they relate. It is important to note that for a term to be considered eligible to appear on the chart, it must appear in at least 2 publications. Learn how to access the Card from the terms:

You can choose between Sonar or Word Cloud formats to visualize the words. When clicking on one of the terms present in the chart, you have access to a card that helps deepen the analysis:

1. Navigate

This option opens a new chart, with the selected term at the center. This feature allows you to see all terms directly linked to the central term.

Example: Selecting Navigate on the term "Season", places the word at the center of the analysis, while around it, we can observe the branches.

2. Zoom

Similarly to other STILINGUE charts, here you can open the Zoom to identify which publications contain the selected term and get more details about them. 

3. Highlight/Disable

Highlight only the correlation line of this term, leaving the rest in the background. Thus, by clicking on the card, you will have all the terms related to the conversation highlighted:

4. Hide

Only removes the correlation line of the desired term, leaving that line in the background.

Thus, directly related terms will also be hidden:

Note: currently, we do not have the option to unhide. It is necessary to refresh the page for the hidden term to return to the chart.

What's the difference in Word Clouds?

You also have the option to access the card of Related Terms in Word Cloud mode. The process is the same: click on the desired word to open the card. The only difference is that in this mode, only the Navigate, Zoom, and Hide options are available.
