Introduction Learn how to collect Instagram posts using hashtags in the Search Configuration. Thinking about the best way to include hashtags from Instagram in your search, STILINGUE has developed the Hashtags Manager, which allows you to collect up to 30 hashtags per page, following Instagram Business guidelines. Attention! If Meta's business account has more than one page, the total number of hashtags for the entire set of pages is limited to 30. In other words, the pages together have this limit. It is important to emphasize that the number of hashtags is also shared if the pages of the same business account are linked in different dashboards. In order for hashtag collection to be carried out in your dashboard, it is necessary for the Instagram owner's page to be: Connected to the research; Linked to the research; Active in the research. When you open the page, you can expand or hide the sections corresponding to each step of the Search Setup: First, locate the hashtags field in the Search Setup: 1. Page Select the proprietary page you want to link to the hashtags. Please note that this step is only for directing the use of your 30 hashtags limit without affecting the proprietary collection. 2. Inclusion of hashtags Enter a hashtag you want to monitor, following the limit of 30 hashtags for each page connected (if you have a Meta business account where multiple pages are linked, these pages will share the number of hashtags). You can copy and paste all the hashtags at once, separated by commas, always respecting the limit. 2.1 Writing with words Instagram does not differentiate between uppercase and lowercase. Even if you include hashtags with capital letters, the system will automatically update them to lowercase. On the other hand, the platform does differentiate accents - this behavior occurs on the platform and the manager also follows the same criterion. Additionally, it's not possible to include a hashtag with special characters. When inserting an invalid hashtag on Instagram, a notification will appear on the screen. Note: if you type a hashtag and give up on it, you can delete it. To do this, click on the "x" next to the word. Remember that this option is only available before saving the hashtag settings. 3. Notice about monitoring pause This message serves as a reminder for those responsible for configuration to remain alert regarding hashtags removed from monitoring due to an invalid token and/or page authentication failure. 4. Active Track all active hashtags in your dashboard in green, and observe the active hashtags in another panel in red. Note: There is no visual difference between the hashtags that are being collected by another account's search or that are being collected by another tool. All will be shown in red. 5. Used by this profile in the last 7 days Drag the hashtags that you no longer want to collect to this field, they will appear in red: Attention! Before the hashtag is deleted, it remains on hold for 7 days. Therefore, if you have 30 hashtags and need to add one more, you must wait 7 days for one to be deleted so you can include new ones in the list. 6. Total of hashtags included. Keep track of the total hashtags you already have in your Instagram business connection. Paused hashtags will be counted within this limit during the first 7 days. The limit is set based on your proprietary business connection. So, if you're collecting hashtags on another STILINGUE account or even on another platform, this limit will be shared. Note: if you enter a hashtag that has never been used on Instagram, you will receive a notification stating that it may be invalid. In this case, you can choose to delete it or keep it on the list so that Instagram will attempt to collect it as soon as possible (it will become valid and permanent once a post containing the hashtag is found). 7. Saving hashtags The Hashtags Management module operates separately from the rest of the research. To save the editing and inclusion of hashtags in this field, you need to click the "Save hashtag" button before proceeding with other edits in your research. This way, you ensure that the specific changes for hashtags are recorded in the system. Collection from the manager and the group You should regularly manage the usage limit of hashtags for each business account you own. The Hashtags Management field refers only to Instagram, meaning the hashtags with permission to be collected by the tool on this platform. Although the Manager allows STILINGUE to monitor Instagram posts with the selected hashtags, it does not guarantee the posts' inclusion in your research. The collection is determined by the terms used in the Research groups. Example: In group A we have the following terms: In order for posts mentioning "stilingueai" to be collected, the term must be in a Group and also in the Manager, so that Instagram authorizes the collection of the corresponding hashtag by your proprietary page. So, if you want to collect any and all posts with a certain hashtag, you need to replicate it in a Group of the search as well. The second option is to collect posts that contain the hashtags in the text only if they refer to a term that is present in the group. Now, if you want to collect posts with the hashtags only when they refer to what was inserted in the Group as a term, you should only place the hashtag in the Manager. This way, they will be included in the search if they have other corresponding terms in the Configuration. How do these publications appear on the dashboard? Anonymous users The platform considers regular users (non-Business) for hashtag collection, but they will be displayed with an anonymous profile. Business profile users, when there is hashtag collection, will also be anonymized. When accessing the publication panel, all of them will be displayed as "Anonymous User" on the card, without showing any information about the publisher (photo, name, followers). Publication time The date the publication was posted is not specified on the card. Therefore, the reference provided will be the publication collection time. Publication Metrics The number of likes and comments on the publication, at the time of collection, is displayed on the card but will not be updated later.
