How to enhance your configuration to expand possibilities in collecting terms

During the search setup process, operators enable specific actions to be applied to the terms of your monitoring. You can choose not to collect certain terms, specify words that should be collected together, and explore other functionalities within this area.

How to access

Access the Configuration area through the side menu or the card:

It is also possible to negate terms in your monitoring. Thus, the collection will not include publications that contain the negated term. 

Example: let's suppose that your Group is monitoring Minas Gerais and its cities, but posts about Belo Horizonte are not relevant to the research. With the operator "-Belo Horizonte," these posts will not be collected.

Attention! The operator will only affect the Group it is in - even with the negated term, the publication may enter the search through other Groups that contain the same word. In turn, by inserting the negation operator into the Context, it will consider the entire search - that is, the unwanted term will be disregarded in all searches. 

If you need to block a term literally, it is necessary to include that term in the desired group, adding the "exactly" operator, and then negating this operator, as follows:

In this way, the search will not collect any publication containing the term exactly as it was written, but it may collect similar terms. To learn more about the "exatamente" operator, refer to this guide.
