Network Operators - Instagram March 14, 2024 11:23 Updated Index: Introduction Instagram Classifier How to use? Introduction Understand which operators to use to categorize Instagram posts in your research The collection and categorization features differ for Instagram compared to other network operators (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter...). Learn more about the operators in the guide. Instagram Classifier The network operators for Instagram function as a post classifier when inserted into the Search Configuration. However, this feature changes under a specific scenario: if a profile is collected through the Influencer Hub*, the Instagram operator mentioning that profile brings related posts. This means that the Instagram operator doesn't perform the collection, but can facilitate it, only in this case. Therefore, we can define the action of the operators as follows: Other network operators: when inserting the descriptor in any search field, the profile is collected. Only for the Instagram operator: only if the influencer has already been collected in the search (either through the Influencer Hub, Business Discovery, or through hashtags), the profile is organized. How to use? Operators are inserted within the groups and themes in your Search Configuration. See below the main features of each operator. To access this area, you can click on "Edit Search": instagramid: Operator What does it classify? How to include? instagramid: Classify all posts made on an Instagram profile from the moment the operator is registered in the group/theme. Note that only if the influencer has already been collected in the research (either through the Influencer Hub, Business Discovery, or by hashtags), will the posts be retrieved and classified by the operator. After the colon (:), it is necessary to input the profile ID from which you want to collect the posts. Within the search, the operator looks like this: To find the Instagram profile ID, follow these steps: 1. Copy the username of the profile you would like to collect. 2. Currently, we have 3 sources for collecting Instagram posts: Via hashtags; Via business discovery (profiles set up in Edit Search); Via business discovery (profiles existing in the Influencer Center database). Only users retrieved from posts in the third topic (profiles existing in the Central Influencers database) are added to the user and their posts' metrics update queue. It's worth noting that collecting posts from profiles registered in the Edit Research tool does not add the posts to the metrics update queue due to compliance reasons, as the same metrics update queue is used for collecting data from all clients. If a post is added, it can be added to all searches as long as it matches the configuration, which cannot happen in this collection, which must be restricted to the account in which the profile was registered.
