Automation May 20, 2024 13:15 Updated Index: How to access Rules & Automatic Classifications Save time spent on manual classifications of publications within your research. Automation allows you to set automatic parameters to classify your publications, targeting each research specifically. This enables you and your team to save time in operations, as all annotations will be applied by the system. This feature, assigning themes, tags, and sentiments to research publications, is a task that can be done manually but requires time and attention. With Automation, this work is optimized, freeing up your time and bringing even more ease and standardization to the classification process. How to access To enter the Automation area, click on the Listening section in the sidebar: The first part presents the existing rules in the research. You have the option to sort the list by name, creation date, or status. You can also customize the display of rules per page, choosing 5, 10, 20, or 30 rules to view at a time. Rules & Automatic Classifications 1. Reprocessing rules After making an edit to the existing rule, the reprocessing button becomes clickable. It is possible to apply the new rule to the last 100,000 publications of your search, just as it happens in the Search Configuration. When reprocessing a rule, all other rules will respect the reprocessing. This option is valid only for the rule after editing it. Reprocessing does not apply to the Term Library (item 4). It is important to note that in the case of rules related to "tags," reprocessing does not delete the tag already classified in the interaction. For example, if you create a rule to classify interactions with the tag "A" edit the rule, and delete that tag, the interaction that had been classified remains with the tag "A" In this case, the posts/interactions will retain tag A, considering that Reprocessing will check if the new Rule/Combination makes sense. Thus, it also classifies itself with the new Rule. It is possible to view the removed tags applied to old publications because, as tag A will be retained, it will be possible to identify the history. Note: if you need to reprocess more than 100,000 publications at once, send a message to Customer Support through chat. This will be done internally. 2. Search Allows the textual search of rules by name. This feature is useful if you have many added rules. 3. Rules per page The number of rules to be viewed at a time is defined by you, according to the number of rules per page, ranging from: 5, 10, 20, and 30. 4. Term Library By clicking the button, you will have the option to create rules for sentiment classification for specific terms, choosing between: positive, neutral, and negative. For more information about this functionality, read the guide. 5. Create a new rule Create another rule without having to go back to the previous page. 6. Display only rules with ID monitoring When activating this option, you will only see rules that include IDs as a condition in the automation rule. 7. Title Here are the names of the rules created so far. To sort by name in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order, click on the arrow icon. 8. Creation Check the creation date of the rule. To sort according to the oldest or most recent rules, click on the arrow icon. 9. Status View and change the status of the rule; you can choose between "active" and "inactive." If you want to sort the rules by status, click on the arrow icon. This way, you can bring active or paused rules to the top. 10. Actions Each icon shows what is possible to do after creating the rules. See in detail: 10.1 Pause rule Pause the processing of the rule, interrupting its classification, and return to the 'enabled' option when desired. 10.2 Edit rule Make changes to the existing rule. 10.3 Delete rule Remove the rule within the search. By doing this, you prevent further classification from being performed on the posts. Classifications annotated by a deleted rule remain in the system. Once removed, the rule cannot be restored or found in the filter. 11. Previous / Next Advance or go back to the pages you want to analyze.
