Automation | Boolean Operators August 19, 2024 12:49 Updated In the Automation area, under Listening when the Publication Filter is "containing text", it is possible to add various parameters. In cases where it is necessary to automate the application of a tag, a theme, or a sentiment, and the parameter is a set of specific terms, it is possible to use boolean operators so that the annotations follow these rules. Boolean operators are used to combine multiple terms into a single search. Check the table below for Automation booleans: Operator Rule Example Classified Publications OR Beaches OR Brazilian ✔ The best beaches are the Brazilian✔ The best beaches are in Bahia ✔ The best foods are the Brazilian AND Beaches AND Brazilian ✔ The best beaches are the Brazilian❌ The best beaches are in Bahia ❌ The best foods are the Brazilian AND NOT Beaches AND NOT Brazilian ✔ The best beaches are in Bahia ❌ The best beaches are the Brazilian ❌ The best foods are the Brazilian No operator Brazilian Beaches Same as Beaches AND Brazilian Subtitle: ✔ = Text classified by the rule ❌ = Text not classified by the rule OR: This boolean will classify posts that contain a OR another term in their content. In other words, it is enough to have a word from all those registered in the rule for automatic classification to occur. AND: This boolean will classify posts that necessarily have all the terms configured in the rule. AND NOT: This boolean will classify posts that have the first term of the rule and necessarily do not have what follows the boolean.Observation 1: The asterisk (*) boolean does not work in automations.Observation 2: The character limit for each rule is 1000. There is no limit on the number of boolean operators to include in the rules, only a character limit.
